Japanese petrochemical maker Sanyo Petrochemical Co., a unit of Asahi Kasei Corp, has rescheduled a maintenance shutdown at its 450,000 tpa naphtha cracker from this 2007 to March/April 2008. This change in plan has been affected by lifting of an order by the regulator to conduct maintenance every year after past regulation violations.
