Saudi Arabia's Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company has restarted all units at its refining and petrochemicals complex at Rabigh and plans to get them running at full capacity by the first week of October, as per Platts. The units were shut following a power outage on September 11.
Power supply to the complex was restored on September 15, the day the week long maintenance started.
Capacities at the Petro Rabigh complex comprise a 400,000 bpd refinery, a 1.3 mln tpa ethane cracker, a 300,000 tpa high density polyethylene plant, a 600,000 tpa linear low density PE plant, a 600,000 tpa polypropylene plant, and a 700,000 tpa monoethylene glycol plant.
