Sintex subsidiary commences auto components production at Chennai plant

Bright AutoPlast, a wholly owned subsidiary of leading Indian plastics group Sintex, has recently expanded production by opening a second plant in Kancheepuram, Chennai (Tamilnadu, India). The plant commenced manufacturing "under the hood" components using injection molding and will also subsequently add the blow molding facility. The strategic location will be used to service the existing clients like Hyundai, Nissan, Ford, TVS and major tier 1 suppliers like HANIL, Visteon, Mobis besides using this as manufacturing base for export orders from European tier 1 companies. The start in production facility signals the phase-1 of expansion with auto component manufacturing. The Company will shortly initiate production for electrical products for large MNCs who already serviced through other subsidiary in France Nief Plastic.
