SK Global Chemical Co., a wholly owned unit of South Korea's top refiner SK Innovation Co., said Wednesday that it will invest 1 trillion won (US$900 million) to expand its paraxylene plant in Ulsan, in the southeast of the country. The plant is planned with an annual production capacity of 1 mln tons, to be built in a joint venture with a Japanese petrochemical company.
