Styrotec to expand its packaging material business

The South Australian-based polystyrene company, Styrotec has been granted the Regional Partnerships Funding to expand its operations in Orange. The company, in its expansion spree, is planning to make use of a technique via which rejected materials can be recycled and reused with raw materials at the rate of around 15%. Its packaging endeavour t is expected to grow beyond making packaging parts for Electrolux. It is to concentrate on building materials, fruit and vegetable boxes beside others, spending a part of the funds of about US $198,000 on machinery to recycle polystyrene off cuts.
