Qatar’s Tasweeq has signed a term contract with 4-5 buyers for shipments of a total 120,000-150,000 tons of naphtha a month, equally to 60-75% of output from its new Ras Laffan condensate splitter. The first shipments are expected to start in October when the new 146,000bpd condensate splitter will come online. Monthly production of 200,000 tons of naphtha will mostly be exported.
