Borouge has awarded three main contracts worth about US$22 million to Tecnimont (Maire Tecnimont Group) for the front-end engineering and design (FEED) stage of Borouge 3 plant expansion in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. The contract includes the FEED of the multiple polyolefin units, the LDPE (low density polyethylene) unit and the utilities and offsite facilities. Bechtel has been shortlisted as the project management support.
