Ticona to extend cooperation with distributor to Benelux, Ireland, UK

After a year long successful co-operation partnership in central and eastern Europe, polymer producer Ticona will extend cooperation with Resinex, international distributor of plastics, rubber and chemical raw materials. The success of this cooperation has encouraged the two to extend business partnership to other countries in which Resinex is well established - Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK, with effect from August 2008. Resinex offers sales and logistics competence in the regions and the relevant polymer, machine and processing know-how. Ticona’s comprehensive product portfolio features a choice of nine high-performance plastics with over 400 modified grades. As part of the reorganization of its sales and distribution concept, Ticona decided to cooperate with Resinex in central and eastern Europe at the beginning of 2007. Among the key deciding factors for the two partners were the reliable, fast delivery of materials by Ticona and the direct, personal, on-the-spot advice given to customers by Resinex.
