Dubbed ME.WE, this Toyota model has been designed by French architect and inventor Jean-Marie Massaud. It can be used as a pickup, convertible, off-roader, or a small city car. It has been designed to cause minimal impact on the environment. WE Concept is an electric vehicle in an aluminum minicar frame. Another good aspect is that all its windows as well as windshield can be lowered to let in a free flow of air.
Powered by lithium ion batteries situated under the floor and mated to four electric motors on each of the wheel hubs, the ME.WE Concept from Toyota has medium off road capabilities. Its roof and floor are made of bamboo and recycled polypropylene plastic body panels (interchangeable) means that the vehicle weighs just 1,653 lbs. Measuring 135.4 inches in length, 68.9 inches in width and 63 inches tall, ME.WE is shorter, though taller and wider as compared to the Fiat Panda Mk3. It consists of interchangeable body panels that are 100% recyclable. Interiors are spacious giving passengers and luggage ample room while the rear seating is removable and can be used as picnic seating.
