Formosa Petrochemical Corp. said two of its refining units in central Taiwan will come back online by the end of June, following planned maintenance that started in March, as per Dow Jones Newswires.
Formosa's President Tsao Minh said a 180,000 bpd crude distillation unit in Mailiao petrochemical complex will resume operations in early May, while a 84,000 bpd residual fluid catalytic cracking unit, which makes gasoline, will be back online in late June. The Mailiao complex has a total of three CDUs and two RFCCs.
