Ukrainian petrochemicals manufacturer Karpatneftekhim has commenced production at a new 300,000 tpa suspension PVC plant. The Ukrainian company is part of Russian Lukor-Neftekhim, as per Prw.com. The facility is located in Kalush and is expected not only to meet the entire domestic demand, but will also allow the country to increase exports mainly to Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Poland and Turkey. Ukraine currently imports up to 150,000 tpa of PVC.
