The Union cabinet has granted clearance to the Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPRI) in Haldia and Nayachar. The government has received the approval letter from the chemicals and fertilisers ministry. A pact will be signed between the Centre and the joint venture formed to implement the project, he added.
