Vietnam Oil and Gas Group receive first petrochemical plant from Huyndai

Huyndai Engineering and Construction Company (HEC) has handed over Vietnam’s first petrochemical plant to Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. The US$234 mln Polypropylene plant in the central province of Quang Ngai has a capacity to produce 150,000 tpa of PP with feedstock propylene sourced from the Dung Quat Oil Refinery. The PVN has tasked Binh Son Oil Refining and Petrochemical Company to manage and operate the plant as a part of Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
