Washington has demanded from Beijing to stop deliveries of petrochemicals to Pyongyang in response to North Korean nuclear test, as per sputniknews.com. Pyongyang had announced, on January 6, that it had successfully carried out a hydrogen bomb test. According to the Japanese Asahi Shimbun newspaper, the United States demanded from China to stop its export of petrochemicals, as well as import of anthracite from North Korea, however China had not responded yet. The newspaper added that China supplied North Korea with some 400-500 thousands of tons of petrochemicals annually, while import of anthracite was estimated at 15.5 mln of tons.
