PlastIndia 2023 sets a Record with Over Three & a Half Lakhs Footfalls

PLASTINDIA 2023, the world's largest plastic exhibition, has been successfully organized in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from Feb 1st to 5 th 2023. One of the most comprehensive exhibitions for the plastics industry, around 1800 exhibitors showcased their latest world-standard Processing Machinery, Raw Materials, Recycling Technology, and latest Automation Technologies in PLASTINDIA 2023. The exhibitors successfully reached out to potential customers and identified newer avenues for growing their business. Several high-value transactions were made over the 5 days. Besides India, Germany, Austria, Japan and Singapore are some of the key participating countries. The exhibition witnessed a high footfall of 3.60 lakh visitors.

The mega exhibition, spread across 150 acres of exhibition space with a total built-up area of 4.2 millionsq ft. at Pragati Maidan, focused on innovation, sustainability, and growth, facilitating modern techniques to help maintain the development of the plastics industry in India. By showcasing the entire gamut of products and technology from the Indian plastic industry, PLASTINDIA 2023 worked towards developing India into a preferred sourcing hub for plastics globally.

PLASTINDIA 2023 was an incredible platform for the Indian plastics industry. The exhibition was a very good opportunity for Indian exhibitors who showcased parallelly foreign exhibitors. Domestic exhibitors got the support they needed to expand more aggressively. The world is now looking at India and with the right policy support, the country will soon emerge as the global sourcing hub for plastics.

Innovative products/ technologies were showcased by leading participants like RIL, IOC, HMEL, Alok Master batches, Fine Organics, Kuraray, OQ, SABIC, in raw material; Lohia, Mamata, Rajoo,Pelican, JP, Milacron, ASB, Husky, ENGEL, Rifenhauser, W&H, Bruckner in machinery; UFLEX, EREMA, Starlinger in recycling equipment; Supreme, Vishakha, in Finished Products

A high-powered CEO Conclave presided over by Hon’ble Minister of Chemical & Fertilizers and Health & Family Welfare; Shri Mansukh Bhai Mandaviya ji was organized at the venue of the exhibition. Over 90 industry leaders and CEOs attended the Conclave and deliberated on how the Indian Plastics Industry can reach its full potential. It was agreed that the industry and the policymakers will walk hand in hand so that the policies can be encouraging to the industry. The
policymakers would be ready for iterations if there were edits to be made along the way to provide an apt environment for the Indian Plastics Industry to become the global sourcing hub.

During the Exhibition, RBSM meetings was also organized in association with PLEXCONCIL, attended by over 300 plus buyers from various countries to source their requirements from India. The RBSM successfully brought potential overseas buyers of plastic products/machinery & mold to India

The outcome of PLASTINDIA 2023 has been very promising. The innovations and the technologies showcased will set the roadmap for the future. PLASTINDIA 2023 also brought together the industry’s brightest minds who used the opportunity to network, explore and learn more about the industry. It introduced and familiarized various businesses with state governments and city councils.

PLASTINDIA 2023 provided the much needed platform to take Indian plastics industry to the global stage!
