Gas Authority India Ltd (GAIL) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) to set up petrochemicals projects in gas rich countries like Middle East, Russia, CIS and African countries.
As per another MoU signed by GAIL with Oil India Limited (OIL), in December last yaer, the two partners agreed inter alia to examine various opportunities available in the petrochemicals sector in India as well as abroad.
GAIL has also signed an MoU with ITERA Oil and Gas Company in February this year to participate in methane based Petrochemicals projects in Russia.
