As per an announcement by National Petrochemical Company of Iran (NPCI), Zagros Petrochemical Company (ZPC) showed exports of roughly 690,000 tons of petrochemicals from March 21 to August 21, 2008 (first five months of current Iranian calendar). Also, 156,000 tons of methanol alone were exported in the period from July 22 to August 21 this year. Nevertheless, a report said that ZPC total methanol exports from March 07 - March 08 stood at 1.1 mln tons.
