LyondellBasell Industries, the global leader in polyolefins technology, production, marketing and one of the world's largest polymers, petrochemicals and fuel companies has finalized to use the Matrikon™ solution for Alarm Management developed by Matrikon Deutschland AG.
The agreement allows all LyondellBasell production facilities in Europe to integrate and use the software suite thus establishing a system-independent standard for the evaluation of alarm performance throughout the company's European operations for plant safety and reliability. According to a senior authority of LyondellBasell Europe, the company shortlisted this system due to its ability to connect to various types of DCS and other control systems and monitor plant performance, control loops, and other plant asset.
