Americhem Inc. (USA), a global provider of custom color and additive solutions for polymer-based products, recently launched an expanded line of chemical blowing agents (CBAs) to the market under the brand name nCore™. According to the company, the new nCore™ CBAs will offer a high-level of cost efficiencies, improved physical properties and decreased cycle time. These improved properties include heat and sound insulation, sink mark prevention and nail and screw acceptance without requiring specialized installation equipment.
nCore™ is available in pellet or powdered forms, for use in injection molding, extrusion and calendaring. The line includes options for exothermic, endothermic, or blended products. It can be formulated to fit a customer's resin, compound and/or manufacturing processes, as well as used with a wide variety of polymers across multiple markets.
