Asian LDPE makers maintain switch to EVA production: prevent price erosion

As LDPE market sentiments continue to be lackluster, producers in Asia, who had switched to EVA production at their swing plants, continue to produce EVA. LDPE market outlook that has been sluggish in absence of sellers offer sand buyers bids, has not affected markets to a great extent as production and supply has been curtailed to make way for EVA. As availability of cargoes remains restricted, typical offers hovered in the thirty dollar price range above US$1920. Few suppliers from Middle East and SE Asia have dipped their August shipment CFR China offers upto US$1880/MT levels.
