BASF ups pricing for Acrylic Acid and Acrylic Esters in North and South America

BASF will increase the selling prices for the following Acrylic Acid and Acrylic Esters in North and South America by US$0.10 per pound for all shipments, effective July 1, 2009, or as contracts permit: -- Glacial Acrylic Acid -- Methyl Acrylate -- Ethyl Acrylate -- Butyl Acrylate -- 2-Ethylhexyl Acrylate These increases are due to elevated operating costs from rapidly increasing raw material prices associated with tight supply in the propylene, oxo-alcohols and acrylates markets.
