Braskem selects INEOS technology for two polyethylene plants

For two of its three polyethylene projects at Ethylene XXI in Mexico, Braskem has selected INEOS´s Innovene S slurry technology. The combined capacity of the two high density polyethylene plants is planned at 750,000 tpa. The third plant will have a 300,000 tpa low density polyethylene (LDPE) capacity. Under the partnership, Braskem could get licences for Innovene S slurry and Innovene G gas phase technologies for the production of HDPE and LLDPE, respectively.
