Canadian businessmen have expressed an interest in launching two petrochemical projects in Egypt at an investment outlay of US$1.8 billion.
If approved, these two ventures would be important event in the history of economic cooperation between Egypt and Canada.
The total volume of Canadian investments in the Egyptian oil and natural gas sectors is an estimated US$300 million.
