Abu Dhabi petrochemical company Chemaweyaat has awarded the front-end engineering contract for an integrated chemical production facility to Finnish engineering company Neste Jacobs.
Chemaweyaat, a 40:20 JV between Abu Dhabi Investment Council and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), is launching a chemical facility at the Khalifa Port Industrial Zone in Taweelah.
The production capacity of this integrated complex is projected at 10 mln tons, and is planned to include a cracker downstream propylene and ethylene units and a reformer among others.
