The Wittmann Group (Austria), leading plastic injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment manufacturer, have expanded within the EU by opening a sales and service subsidiary in Bucharest, Romania. 'Wittmann Battenfeld Srl' will bolster the presence of the Wittmann Group in the growing Romanian market thereby growing in Eastern Europe. The Wittmann Group has developed a considerable market for itself there in recent years, both for injection moulding machines and for peripheral equipment. "We see Romania as the country with the greatest growth potential of all of the new EU states. This market entry is another step in our consistent expansion policy in Eastern Europe," explains Dr. Werner Wittmann.
