Crude futures dip even as winter storm hits Southeast USA

New York crude futures dipped on Thursday even as winter storm hit the Southeast coupled with the Government announcement that the amount of natural gas in storage declined last week. Light sweet crude for January delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange closed at US$59.99. In London, the price of Brent North Sea crude for January delivery rose to US$59.85.
