Haitian markets machines in Europe branded Demag Haitian. Before 2004, the Chinese partner was active in Europe only through an agent. But in 2004, Haitian opened its own sales/service office in Italy where it adds European components onto Chinese-built basic equipment.
Haitian also has a joint venture with Japan's Sanjo Seiki in vertical injection machines.
