Crude for March delivery inched up to US$89.8 on the Nymex after dipping by 2.4% on the previous day, on news of rise in US stockpiles. Crude inventories in USA increased 2.62 mln barrels to 335.7 mln barrels in the week ended Jan. 14, the Energy Department said yesterday. However, oil has moved up on expectations of demand recovery. Brent crude futures fell to US$96.26 a barrel, the most since November; after trading for 7 days at levels close to US$100.
