Dhunseri’s second PET plant with 2,10,000 tpa capacity inaugurated at Haldia

The Chief Minister of West Bengal has inaugurated the second PET plant of the Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea Limited having a capacity of 2,10,000 tpa at Haldia. As per fibre2fashion, with this, the company’s total PET production capacity has risen to 4,10,000 tpa, and currently places the company as the largest PET capacity in India. The PET plant has been executed in technical collaboration with Oerlikon Barmag of Germany as EPC Contractor and Process Licensor. The Project has been successfully commissioned this month. One half of the Company's total PET Resin output will go into domestic market in the country and the balance will be exported to earn about Rs. 2000 Crores of foreign exchange.
