The Dow Chemical Company recently announced that it has further developed its specialty polyols manufacturing capability at the Freeport, Texas, plant to meet the demand for differentiated polyurethane products from customers in the automotive, coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers, and furniture and bedding industries. Polyols manufactured at the Freeport site support demand for specialty products and systems in North America. "Sustained market needs in specialty products have been a driving factor in this capability enhancement," said Doug Warner, global director for Polyols at Dow Polyurethanes.
