Dow Chemical Company plans to proceed with the construction of a new propylene oxide-based glycol ethers facility at Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province of China. This facility, with a nameplate capacity of 120,000 metric tpa is scheduled to come on line in late 2008. Zhangjiagang is centrally located to supply customers in the major established markets of Japan, Korea and Taiwan, as well as a growing number of customers in China.
