As a result of recent escalation in the cost of key raw materials, DSM Engineering Plastics will increase prices in North America for Akulon® polyamide 6 resins (unfilled grades, both medium and high viscosity) by US$0.10/lb. This increase will take effect as of June 15, 2009. The company said the price hike will ensure DSM Engineering Plastics' sustainable long-term growth in North America.
