DSM Engineering Plastics moves its Americas headquarters

DSM Engineering Plastics has moved its Americas headquarters to Troy, Michigan, from its previous location in Birmingham, Michigan. This move, prompted by recent growth, creates an environment that will help to promote closer collaboration between DSM and its customers. The new office will showcase DSM’s products and services, while providing the space and tools needed to better support local demand and development. “Our new facility allows our employees to improve collaboration with colleagues to more quickly and efficiently work to address our customers’ challenges,” said Richard Pieters, President of DSM Engineering Plastics – Americas. “The addition of a dedicated Application Development Center within our headquarters will further facilitate our ability to support customers in their efforts to develop innovative, new products.” DSM is a major developer and global supplier of polyamide engineering plastics with a portfolio that includes Akulon® PA6 and PA66, Stanyl® PA46, Stanyl® ForTii™, and EcoPaXX®, a bio-based polyamide that is certified carbon neutral from cradle to gate. In addition DSM supplies Xytron™ PPS as well as thermoplastic polyesters Arnite® PBT and PET, and Arnitel® TPE for engineering applications. These materials are used in applications and products all over the world for the automotive, electrical & electronics, and food packaging industries.
