DuPont commences first Ethylene Copolymer operation in Asia Pacific

DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (P&IP) has commenced operations at its facility in Shenzhen, China - the first P&IP ethylene copolymer business operation in Asia Pacific. The plant will cater to the growing needs of the packaging industry and polymer modification - among the fastest-growing sectors in the polymer industry in China, and will manufacture DuPont™ Bynel® and DuPont™ Fusabond® adhesive resins Bynel® and Fusabond® adhesive resins are specialty products applicable to a wide range of packaging and industrial applications, such as building panels, pipe coating, flexible packaging, and polymer modification.
