Egypt mulls petrochemical complex in Alexandria

Trade and Industry Minister Moneir Fakhry Abd el-Nour announced that he formed a committee, including representatives of the Social Development Fund (SDF), the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), the Plastic Division of Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM), and Alexandria governorate to outline a vision for the establishment of a petrochemical complex for the Small and Medium-Seized Enterprises (SMEs).
