ExxonMobil Chemical Co's polypropylene technology, refined over the last 15 years is now available for licensing. Licensing seems to be the most attractive option for market entry and penetration, at a time when most of the future growth is taking place in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
The polypropylene process technology is based on the unique combination/hybridization of Mitsui Hypol technology and Montell's loop process - combining the best of the both
technologies. ExxonMobil will provide a complete package for homopolymers, random and impact copolymers taking advantage of the best loop reactors for the homopolymers
and gas phase reactors for impact copolymers.
