Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical Corp. has scheduled expansion of its refinery in 2006, shutting one crude unit and several secondary units over February and March. The revamping would expand each of the unit's capacity by about 20%. The February/March maintenance will also bring down a 73,000-bpd gasoline-making residual fluid catalytic cracking unit.
