Formosa Petrochemical Corp. has shut down its 84,000 bpd residual fluid catalytic cracker (RFCC) for 10 day maintenance turnaround. Formosa has earlier planned a two-week turnaround in early July due to a leakage. Around 55% of the RFCC's production is gasoline, and the rest is propylene feedstocks. Exports for July loading are unlikely to be affected due to sufficient inventories available, but losses of gasoline output are unavoidable.
