German-headquartered worldwide manufacturer of flexible packaging, technical films, and product components, NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG has strengthened its presence in Russia by investing EUR 25 mln in its NORDENIA SLAVNIKA Pereslavl site. The manufacturing site houses a new production building with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and a new warehouse. The overall investment of EUR 25 million also includes the setting up of further printing and lamination machines, which is planned for 2010/11. NORDENIA is represented in the booming markets of Eastern Europe with further production sites in Poland and Hungary. In addition, the packaging manufacturer is represented in Ukraine, Moscow and Saint Petersburg with its own sales offices. NORDENIA SLAVNIKA Pereslavl, which was founded in 1994, has been part of the NORDENIA Group since 2003.
