Science and Technology Minister Kapil Sibal, speaking at PlastIndia 2006 exhibition, mooted the idea to establish a plastic innovation park in partnership with the industry to develop innovative products and encourage plastic consumption. He envisaged The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research to be partnering in this in a big way in this project.
