Indorama Group, the major investor in Eleme Petrochemicals, has concluded plans to invest an additional N325.5 bln in three new plants. As per the plans, within the next three years, this outlay will be invested in one plant each for Polyethylene Terephthalate, (PET) fertiliser and methanol projects. As of now, Indorama has invested about US$575mln to revive the failing plants that currently produce various petrochemicals such as polyethylene and polypropylene for exports.
