Indian Oil Corp will complete a naphtha cracker complex by September 2009, and will expand the capacity to 15 mln tpa at its Panipat refinery by December 2009. Expansion costs have been totaled at Rs 806 crore - to enable the unit to produce Euro-III and Euro IV petrol and diesel.
Last year, the company had invested Rs 4,165 crore in doubling the Panipat refinery capacity to 12 mln tons. The complex will also produce Paraxylene and PTA.
