Iran will not sever petrochemical deals with India

The foremost question on every mind is whether Iran would reconsider its economic relations with other States that voted against it, in particular India. The head of Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has in a statement said that petrochemical agreements with India will "definitely be implemented. The two countries are also to conclude a framework agreement on a tri-nation multibillion-dollar deal to sell natural gas to India through a pipeline that will run through Pakistan. Elaborating on Iran's projected petrochemical deals, he added that six petrochemical projects were near finalization stage and several others are to come on stream by the end of the year.
