As per the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, the July imports for naphtha soared 10.3% compared to the figures for June. Total volume of July imports for ethylene production reached 1,191,192 tons from 1,077,685 tons imported in June. The cost of naphtha imports, on an average, surged to US$1128/ton for July compared to US$1023/ton for June.
