June propylene exports from USA rise to record high of 60,977 mt

US propylene exports in June totaled 60,977 mt, data from the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers showed, and the highest total on record, as per the US International Trade Commission, up 19% from 51,348 mt in May, as per Platts.
The top three destinations were Mexico, Colombia and Belgium & Luxembourg, which took 32,834 mt, 20,826 mt and 7,038 mt, respectively, the data showed. Canada provided the largest volumes in June, shipping 13,468 mt, the data showed.

Year on year increase has been 54% higher - export recorded in June 2016 was 39,488 mt. US propylene imports in June totaled 19,861 mt, 3% above May's 19,327 mt, but 4% below June 2016's imports of 20,674 mt, according to the data.
