The remarkable growth of the flexible packaging industry has fuelled demand for advanced Multilayer film plants. The Kolsite Group, with it's sensitivity to market needs has introduced the Three Layer Film Plants with Internal Bubble Cooling (IBC).
Kolsite demonstrated this new Model, for Lamination Film on 06th & 07th January, 2005 at their Daman Works in the august presence of over 101 delegates from leading processors and raw material manufacturers. The plant produced lamination film, thickness 27 microns, 1650 mm lay-flat width at an output of 320 kgs./hr.
Superior Features
IBC offer advantage of 50% increase in output with many additional benefits - elimination of polymer odour, improved clarity, reduced blocking , etc. A 5-orifice lip set is provided to enhance cooling efficiency. The IBC control mechanism is achieved by Contact type Pneumatic Displacement Transducer sensor with precision butterfly valve for air control.
12-segment scissor type basket, guides the bubble to flattening boards (with PBT rolls ). Film thickness randomization is achieved through Horizontal Oscillating Haul Off. Lager diameter air turn bars of 150mm is provided to reduce the wrinkles.
The 2-Station Automatic surface winder (KVP-1800) with wound roll capacity of Dia. upto 1000 mm / 700 kgs., produces 'Readily Marketable Rolls'. The plant capacity is 375 kgs/hr., lay-flat width 1100 - 1700mm in thickness range 25-200 microns. It processes all conventional polyolefins and metallocenes.
