LyondellBasell has confirmed its continuing participation in the development and construction of an integrated petrochemical complex and a gas separation unit by Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries (KPI) in the Atyrau region. LyondellBasell owns a minority stake in KPI that is to comprise of a world-scale ethane cracker, propane dehydrogenation unit, polypropylene plant and two polyethylene production facilities using LyondellBasell's polyethylene and polypropylene process technologies.
