The M&G Group, owned by the Ghisolfi family, has announced the official opening of the world’s largest PET plant, its 450,000 tpa PET production facility in north eastern Brazil. The plant construction took two years to reach a stage of completion and uses M&G’s solid stating technology. Production from the plant will find its way into the markets in Brazil and other South American countries, to cater to the packaging industry.
