India's Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) plans to shut its 20,700 barrels-a-day hydrocracker for around 30 days for maintenance during September-October. This shutdown seems to be for catalyst regeneration whose performance slows down over a period of time. During the shutdown, MRPL's throughput would decline by 10-15%.
