Light, sweet crude for May delivery dropped to US$64.10 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, as 15 British sailors arrived home, ending a conflict that helped drive oil prices up more than five dollars a barrel since the sailors were captured by Iran two weeks ago.Prices wavered on light trading volume ahead of the long weekend. The Nymex is closed on Friday.
On London's ICE futures exchange, Brent crude for May delivery slipped to US$68.06.
